The picture says it all. Wabbit puppet creator Jill 'Wiggy' Wilson is in the process of creating a truly spectacular lion for our production of The Wabbit King. But perhaps she has got a bit too close to Bhubesi for comfort! What happened next? - if you can think of a clever caption for this photo, why not submit a caption below and send it through. The most entertaining caption will receive 10 Wabbit Raffle Tickets for a chance to win a specially designed Wabbit by Wiggy herself! Meeting with Wiggy today to discuss the set design. It is a beautiful set and easily assembled in about twenty minutes. It has levels on it to ensure the children will be able to see the action if the actors are performing in a school or festival where there is no raked seating. Wiggy also showed us the lion's head prototype (pictured below). It will be stunningly dramatic when it is finished! Jill Wilson has been busy designing a poster for The Wabbit King. Here is the first prototype. Following feedback from the production team, she will now get to work on creating the final image that will become The Wabbit King Poster, which we will then use to market the show. What do you think of it? So, Jill has clothed a Wabbit - Rafe is starting to come to life - and in his hybrid state has to endure his first photo shoot! Great fun had by all creating a number of wabbit scenes - one of which will become our poster and ultimately become the image for our play, touring primary schools in the South from April next year (2014).
