Chris is a writer/director/actor & musician. He studied at Cambridge University and trained at LAMDA. He has worked with many theatre companies as an actor and musician over the last thirty years and has directed all of Another Way Theatre's productions to date. His plays and musicals have been published by www.stagescripts.com.
He is currently Head of Drama Productions at Trinity School of John Whitgift in Croydon. Producer - Nicky Chambers
Nicky is a producer and actress. She trained at The Drama Studio and has worked for many companies including The Watermill, Southwold Festival, The Steam Industry, Farnham Maltings & Polka Theatre. She has produced all the Another Way Theatre productions over the last ten years and also works as a PA to a renowned environmentalist.

Another Way Theatre was set up by Chris & Nicky Chambers in 2010. Shakespearean productions include Twelfth Night at The Middle Temple Hall, The Space & Hoxton Hall - Midsummer Night's Dream in a swing park in Caterham, Surrey - Much Ado About Nothing for RSC Openstages at Questors Theatre - Antony & Cleopatra & Hamlet at The Caterham and Purley Festivals as well as touring to The Minack Theatre, Cornwall.
Other Shakespeare based productions include Smorgas-bard (David Gold's Open Gardens 2014/2015) & Shakespeare In Shorts (2016/2017/2019 Azille, France). AWT are especially keen on developing new musical theatre (such as Olympus 2012), and theatre for young audiences. Original work includes The Wabbit King - an original musical for families with puppetry (Skewbald Festival), and Elephant of My Heart (Edinburgh Festival). They recently produced a London showcase of a new musical version of Gulliver's Travels at St.Martin's Hall, after which a complete production was mounted by Chichester University in 2017 following Royal Academy of Music Workshops. Other recent productions include the comedy, Recital by Christopher Owen and a new play by Carolyn Pertwee & Ros Adler - Between Friends. AWT recently performed at Hever Festival Theatre and returned to The Minack Theatre in JUNE 2022 with Jane Eyre following acclaimed previous productions of Antony & Cleopatra, The Seagull & Hamlet. |
