Held final auditions at Croydon College this morning for OLYMPUS. A great energy in the room and a real sense of commitment.

Currently enjoying playing the pirate CHANG in Firework Maker's Daughter at The Bloomsbury Theatre (until Jan 21). Great cast and pictured below is Natasha Lewis as the Lady of The Emerald Lake as well as us in a boat about to be snapped up by a hungry croc.
We are still looking to cast the male acting lead in the show, Dimitry Raphael. He is the 2012 Olympic athlete that is struck by lightning and sent hurtling back through time to the slopes of Olympus in 780 BC.
Playing age 22 - 35 athletic, charismatic, fit - (5'9" - 6'5") - perhaps with Greek origins, but not essential - this is not a singing role. It requires a very strong actor as the role takes him on an epic journey. We will be holding auditions in the week beginning the 23rd January 2012. This is an epic community project and there is no fee attached - so may suit a recent graduate who would be keen to perform at the famous Minack Theatre in Cornwall. Please contact [email protected] for more information on the project. We are also keen to see local MEN (Croydon area) who would like to play SPARTANS as part of the ensemble (aged 18 - 50). Colleague Ian Rae has been globe trotting - he took his Olympus camera and this is the result.
